Manchester United have signed one of their biggest talents on a long-term deal

Manchester United midfielder Kobe Meino has signed a new contract, the club have announced. The midfielder 's new deal runs until June 2031 and will see his wages increase significantly, with the player's wages not officially disclosed but local media reports suggesting it could be in the region of £150,000. The 21-year-old has been part of the club's academy since the age of six and has spent his entire adult life with the Red Devils. He has made 98 appearances for the 20-time champions, scoring the winning goal in the 2024 FA Cup final against Manchester City .

The midfielder was in a difficult situation when the team's manager was Ruben Amorim , who did not bet on him at all and it was considered that he was very likely to leave. The situation around him changed radically after the arrival of Michael Carrick at the helm of the team. The former midfielder changed the team's scheme and Meino was given a much more important and serious role in the team as a partner to Casemiro in the middle of the field.
